So if you think about Duchamp’s act of removing representation by just using the object itself, what happens in terms of digital art? How can you just present magnetic changes or whatever? You can only get access to it through some sort of representation. But then I guess it depends on where you locate the digital material. And also Duchamp was still dealing with representation as he didn’t like things retaining their use value.
